Cometal China is the sole authorized subsidiary of Cometal Engineering S.p.A. in China, invested and established by Cometal Italy, a company with over 50 years of experience in the aluminium extrusion industry.

Building on Italian engineering expertise, Cometal China provides complete solutions for aluminium extrusion production, including the design and supply of fully automatic aluminium extrusion lines and extrusion presses. The company holds multiple patented technologies and supports customers throughout the entire project lifecycle, from engineering and manufacturing to installation and after-sales service.

Cometal China directly inherits the engineering standards, design philosophy, and management system of Cometal Italy. The company employs approximately 180 professionals, including 30 design engineers, more than 80% of whom have over 10 years of industry experience. The after-sales service team consists of 22 specialized engineers, with over 80% having more than 10 years of hands-on experience in aluminium extrusion equipment installation and commissioning.

With a strong combination of Italian technology and localized manufacturing, Cometal China supports aluminium extrusion producers worldwide in achieving stable production, efficient operation, and long-term reliability.

Cometal has developed into a manufacturer of equipment for aluminium extrusion processing, supported by a well-defined organizational structure and an engineering-driven operating model. The company is equipped with a dedicated design and R&D department, modern manufacturing workshops, and an experienced after-sales service organization with practical on-site expertise.

In addition to equipment engineering and manufacturing, Cometal’s commercial and project teams support customers with technical feasibility studies and project-oriented solutions, enabling rational investment planning in line with production requirements and modern management practices.

Cometal holds multiple proprietary know-how and patented technologies. Through long-term technical cooperation with customers, the company has jointly developed a range of application-specific solutions, continuously improving system design and process performance. These developments support customers in enhancing product quality consistency, increasing production efficiency, and reducing material waste, contributing to stable and sustainable operation of aluminium extrusion lines.

Our History

1964

Cometal builds and installs the first puller for a customer, and it may be the first puller in the world;

1981

The first extrusion line designed and built by Cometal with automatic stretching and profile stacking was put into operation;

2004

Cometal builds a factory in China;

2013

The first fully automatic extrusion line of Foshan Cometal;

2014

Obtained ISO9001 certification and the title of ‘High-tech Enterprise’;

2015

Cometal (Foshan) Extrusion Technology Co., Ltd. was listed on the New Third Board;

2016

The world's first 25MN offline stretching machine produced and manufactured by Cometal (Foshan) Extrusion Technology Co., Ltd.

2017

·The 125MN fully automatic extrusion line produced by Cometal (Foshan) Extrusion Technology Co., Ltd.
· Establishment of Cometal International Services, Inc.
· Cometal (Foshan) Extrusion Technology Co., Ltd. signed 6 fully automatic aluminium extrusion complete lines (including extrusion presses) with domestic famous aluminium enterprises;

2019

Cometal (Foshan) Extrusion Technology Co., Ltd. signed 6 fully automatic aluminium extrusion complete lines (including extrusion presses) with domestic famous aluminium enterprises;

2023

· Obtained the title of ‘Specialized and New Small and Medium-sized Enterprises’ at the provincial level.
· Obtained the title of ‘Innovative Small and Medium-sized Enterprises’ at the provincial level.

2024

· Lease term of factory land expired and negotiated with the local community for a 20-year lease extension.
· Cometal(Foshan)has signed a total of10 fully automatic low energy extrusion production lines with domestic and international partners.

2025

Cometal significantly expanded its presence in the Indian market, signing a contract with India’s largest window and door systems company for the supply of two fully automated extrusion lines.
